The homeworld of the Blobster race is a dry, barren world, composed of small seas and huge boulder-strewn plains. Technology was first introduced to Oozesta by Sraffan traders about 500 years ago. As a result, an ever-increasing percentage of Blobsters live in structured cities and participate in the fast-growing, free-wheeling Oozesta economy. However, fully 20% of the planet's Blobsters still live "in the wild", spurning modern civilization.
